The 185th Munich Oktoberfest 2018 – folk festival of superlatives
The annual Munich Oktoberfest is literally known worldwide. The 185th edition takes place for two weeks, from Saturday, September 22nd to Sunday, October 7th. The marquees are open daily until 11.30pm; the last beer serving ends one hour before. On weekdays the bar starts at 10.00 in the morning and one hour earlier at the weekend. Käfers’s Wiesenschänke as well as the wine tent are open daily until 01.00 o’clock, half an hour before the serving ends. The main entrance to the Wies’n is located at the northern end of the 40-hectare site near Schwanthalerstraße.
